Abdykhalykov Kairzhan Sayassatuly

Kazakh-American University’s Campus Director-Provost. Doctor (PhD) of International Relations, KAU associate professor.
He got magna cum laude of the bachelor and master degrees of the Kazakh National University named after al-Farabi. In 2006-2009s he continued his doctoral studies at Al-Farabi KazNU, and at SOAS, University of London (UK).
He is External expert of the Center for Sustainable Business Practices (CSBP) at the University of Northampton, UK; Certified expert of the SPM of the Republic of Kazakhstan on PMI PMBOK; Scientific consultant of the UNESCO Center for Journalism and Communication of KazNU.
He had the traineeships at the University of Cambridge (Great Britain), the Prague Higher School of Economics (Czech Republic), the Abertay University (Scotland), and he studied at the OSCE Research Center on the INSPIRE program, besides he got his probation practice at the European Academy of Berlin (Germany).
From 2009 to 2010 he was the head of the PhD programs of the Department of International Relations and the chairman of the Council of Young Scientists of Al-Farabi KazNU. From 2010 to 2014 he was appointed to the positions of the deputy dean for educational work, the first deputy dean for teaching and methodical work of the department of international relations, deputy director of the Regional Center for the United Nations, director of the Resource and Information Center for the Promotion of International Academic Mobility, director of the Career and Business Center of Al-Farabi KazNU.
From 2014 to 2016 he worked as Director of the Department for International Development, Dean of the Higher School of Finance and Management, Science Director of Almaty University of Management.
In 2016-2017s, he occupied the positions of Vice-Rector for Strategic Development of the Eurasian Technological University, Head of the Catapult Almaty Start-Up Academy of the DAMU Foundation and Baiterek Holding.
From 2017 – Dean of KAU’s campus & Acting Director of Kazakh-American University.
He published 60 scientific papers in Kazakh, Russian and English languages, including 1 monographic book, 1 educational manual, 27 articles published in the publications recommended by CCSON MES RK, 3 publications in foreign cited scientific journals, 27 publications in scientific journals and collections of materials of international and republican conferences, and 1 brochure. He took part in more than 30 international, republican scientific conferences, seminars and round tables on the territory of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
He was a participant of more than 10 international scientific conferences and seminars in universities and scientific centers of Great Britain, USA, Turkey, Cyprus, Germany, Belgium, Lithuania and Hungary.
In 2015 he became a member of the European Association for International Education (EAIE); since 2016, he was a member of the Board of the Kazakhstan Foundation for the Management Development (KFMD).
In 2013, he got the international award of the Monterey Institute of International Studies, USA for his contribution to the development of the global interuniversity cooperation. Three times he owned the State Scientific Grant of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan for talented young scientists (in 2010-2012, 2012-2013 and 2014-2015). He is a Grantee of the Fund of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan - Leader of the Nation.
He was awarded to a diploma of the Minister of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan (2012). He has letters of gratitude from the Eurasian Economic Association, Director of the NCT of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Almaty city Bostandyk district’s mayor, president of KAU, rector of the Al-Farabi KazNU, President of AlmaU. He is the holder of more than 20 international certificates THE, QS, UN, UNDP, IREG, British Council, Elsevier, Patent Hatchery, NCSTI, UNESCO, Erasmus +.

Tagviashvili Natalia S., Professor’s assistant at CAU,
Readable disciplines: Arabic, introduction to journalism, conflict media teleradiojournalism and others.
Experience in administrative positions (Deputy Dean for Academic Affairs, Vice-Dean for Research and methodical work, the Chairman of the Methodological Council) .In post of chairman of the MS in 2012. Free guided all aspects of the organization of educational process on credit technology, methods of teaching at the university. Constantly improve their skills at national and international level.
Developer manuals on disciplines of the specialty "Journalism".
She is a member of international scientific conferences, has about 20 publications.
As the supervisor of student work, she won awards at national and international conferences. (Mazhitova Anna journalistic competition "Ansar" under the International Media Forum, held by the Assembly of Peoples of Kazakhstan in the category "Best Young Journalist of the Year" 2013, 2014)
Successfully engaged in social and educational work among the students, led by the work of the "Studio of journalism."
She was awarded twice by representative of the government in the Honorary Diploma of Almaty for her contribution in the training of qualified specialists (in 2007 and 2012).
In the 2013-14 academic year she was awarded with diploma of the first degree " The Best methodologist of the year."
