Cooperation
KAU cooperates with number of Universities both in Europe and the USA. Among some of those universities there were articulation agreements concluded. In accordance to that agreement the universities recognize the standard of education at KAU and that it does correspond to European or American Education standards. Thus the students of KAU have the opportunity to complete their education of American or European Universities after having completed their major course in Kazakhstan and obtain high degree certificates from Kazakhstan as well as American Educational Institutions. There have been other agreements concluded on exchange programs for KAU students and teachers together with agreement on common curriculums and syllabus work.
University-partners have to provide a support in organizing the educational process in Kazakhstan: teaching materials, training courses, text books, etc. In addition, partner-university is obligated to invite KAU teachers to participate in selecting foreign teachers for KAU and their further lectures or lessons according to the curriculum agreed by the Cooperating University. International Department within KAU provides its full support to students in choosing the right University and assists them in other issues if such occur.

University of Cincinnati, USA
University of Cincinnati is one of the biggest universities in the USA, which was founded in 1819, and is as big as Howard University. In 1968 the university received a state grant and became a State University in 1977. There are 18 colleges at university: College of Business, College of Medicine, College of Pharmacy, College of Music, College of Engineering, College of Architecture, College of Education, etc. The university is accredited by Association of American Schools and Universities. The first mutual program in the USA was suggested by the University of Cincinnati in 1906.
Currently the university has developed and offered one more mutual program which is the second in its rate in the USA. There were three programs suggested by the university’ colleges: JD/Master, LD/MBA, and JD/MCP. These programs’ students can get a degree of Humanities and Science. The university has right to award the students with diplomas of Undergraduate, Graduate and Postgraduate degree. Nowadays the university has acquired the status of the biggest research center in the USA.
The university’ campuses are located on the area of more than 200 acres and present the example of traditional and modern architecture. The most number of students live in campus which is located in Clifton in a very green environment not far from Hyde Park. The campus is very close to banks and supermarkets. The university students also have an opportunity to stay in Sciot Hall. The campus is provided with all necessary facilities for education and rest, has got a very big residence for high school graduates, parking lot and its own library.
Eastern Connecticut State
In 1889 George Konant, a young lawyer and secretary of the City’ Council of Education showed that Willimantic is a very good location for setting up a school in the state in the Eastern part of Connecticut River.
The committee and the Legislative Body of the State approved the proposal and in September 1889 Willimantic State Normal School started its function.
The name of the institution has been changed four times since then:
• 1937 – Willimantic State Teachers College
• 1959 – Willimantic State College
• 1967 – Eastern Connecticut State College
• 1983 – Eastern Connecticut State University
Eastern Connecticut State University is a comprehensive institution and is entirely involved into the mission of the system of Connecticut State University, which focuses on support of education on a high level and teaching methods improvement. The university is accredited by Association of School and Colleges and has right to award its students with the diplomas of Undergraduate, Graduate and Postgraduate degree. International students from different countries can get high education in Art and Science.

In the campus there is a Library, Enrollment Office, Northern Residential Town, Planetarium, Julian Ackus Art Gallery, Macintosh and Pentium Computer Laboratory, Scientific Laboratory, Research Center, Harry Hall Theatre, Educational center, Arboretum, Stadium for 3000 people, etc.
Oklahoma State University
Oklahoma State University was founded on 25 December 1890 as Agrarian Technical College. It was renamed into Oklahoma State University on 1 June 1957.
The university is located in Stillwater in the north of Oklahoma. Stillwater is the city with low levels of living wage and crime. It is about 60 miles far from Tulsa and Oklahoma City, which makes communication to the university easier both by car and plane.
The campus of Oklahoma State University is considered to be one of the most beautiful. It includes a lot of modern buildings in the style of Georgia State. It has one of the biggest libraries in the South West.
Research Center for Leading Technologies at the College of Engineering, Architecture and Technologies was opened in fall 1997. This center plays an important role in the sphere of engineering and research in different sciences, which are important not only for Oklahoma but also for the USA and the whole World. Lately Oklahoma State University is considered to be a leader in the world of computers in the USA.
University of Georgia
University of Georgia was founded on 27 January in 1785 by General Assembly. Georgia is the first State where the university was based on the state provision and support. In 1801 the university became officially approved.
The main campus of the university is in Athens, Georgia
In the university there is a Boyd Research Center for Graduate Degree programs, Colleges of Agriculture and Nature Management, Social Sciences, Veterinary, Pedagogies, Pharmacy, School of Forestry and Social Work as well as a Center for Continuous Education of Georgia State, the Coliseum and Honorary "Bats-Maier” Hall.
The university’ students have choice among such majors as Agriculture and Nature Management, Education, Social Studies, Journalism and Mass Media, Law, Pharmacology, and Medicine, etc.
Kennesaw State University
Kennesaw State University was founded in 1963. It is located in the North-Western Atlanta and is a valuable resource for cultural development. The university is closely connected with University of Georgia.
Kennesaw State University offers a big range of undergraduate degree programs, including Humanities, Social Studies, Mathematics, Accounting, Computer and Information Systems.

Center of American Education in Dubai
The Center of American Education in Dubai is under the leadership of American College in Dubai. The center introduces the American credit system and offers the further continuation of studies in the universities of the USA, Canada and Europe.
In May 2003 KAU signed the agreement with the Center, which gives students of KAU the opportunity of studying the program 2+2, that means 2 years studying in KAU and the rest 2 years of studies in Dubai or in the colleges of the USA, Canada and Europe.
The international University of Catalonia
The international University of Catalonia is a private university, which was recognized by Parliament of California in 1997. The University expands cooperation with other educational schools of the world. The great attention is paid to the universities of Post-Soviet Countries. In 2001 there was signed the agreement with the Moscow University named after M.V. Lomonosov and the International University of Catalonia. In 2003 it signed the agreement with KAU of the field of cultural cooperation.
University is located in Barcelona and introduces the following faculties:

The Yukon College of Canada
The university campus is situated on the territory of Yukon, Canada. The rest 12 campuses are located in different parts of Yukon.
The average of students (part-time and full-time) is 600 and 3900 in conformity.

Weather conditions: in summer (June, mid-September): from +15 degrees to +25 degrees. In winter (October-April) – from -10 to -20 degrees.
Nature and active rest.
In summer students go in for active kind of rest as hiking and canoe, fishing or walking tourism.. in winter the most popular sports are skiing skating, underwater fishing snow-tractor trips, dranget dogs, and admiring the North radiance.
