ALMATY COLLEGE of COMMUNICATIONS at Kazakh-American University (ACC At КАU)

Айгараева Гайни Абдибаевна Almaty college of communication is one of the oldest educational institutions of the Republic of Kazakhstan with rich history and nice traditions, annually letting out highly skilled experts in the field of communication.
As the educational institution, Almaty electro- technical school of communication has been created in September, 1930. In 1996 the technical school has received the status of college. Since 1999 the college is the structural division of the Kazakh-American University.
For 77 years of work the college has strongly secured reputation of the educational institution preparing competent experts for branches of communication. Its graduates work at many enterprises of Kazakhstan, the CIS countries in any of nowadays existing branches of communication: a radio communication, broadcasting, tranking and cellular communication, digital automatic stations.
The need of the enterprises of telecommunications for our experts is so high, that it removes a problem with their distribution after end of training. From the date of its formation of college has prepared over 23 thousand experts.

Nowadays college introduces multiprofile and multilevel preparation of specialities.
There are created necessary conditions for reception of initial vocational training on the basis of the core and the average general education with assignment of corresponding qualification in college, as the electrical engineer on telecommunication networks and systems of switching, the electrical engineer of linearly-cable constructions, the electrical engineer of the radio-electronic equipment, the radioman.
On the basis of average vocational training at КАU, at the department of applied sciences there is probably possible maximum vocational training on communication with assignment of qualification of «engineer» in conformity with specialties: communication networks and systems of switching (SNSS), multi channel telecommunication systems (MTS), a radio communication, broadcasting and TV (RCBT), operation of meteorological and radio engineering systems (OMRES), a mail service (MS).
Graduates of college major: the economics, book keeping and audit, banking — can continue training at КАU at the faculty of economy and law.
In ACC at КАU the quantity of pupils in educational group makes up to 25 people. Subgroups learning different subjects are divided according to normative documents of the Ministry of science and formation the RK at all steps, on all specialities.
College training is conducted in the Kazakh and Russian languages, with the profound studying in English. ACC at КАU provides knowledge and development of the Kazakh language as the state on; studying of Russian as the language of interethnic dialogue, and studying of English as the language of the international dialogue.
Preparation of experts of average vocational training is carried out on 7 specialities. The forms of training are internal and correspondence.
The interrelation between educational parts of continuous education system of КАU is based on principles of continuity and succession. Besides, educational programs research and there is carried out scientifically-methodical work.
Практическое занятие Staff of ACC at КАU constantly works on increase of methodical skill, solves questions of teaching and educational process from the scientific point of view, considers questions of an estimation of scientific maintenance of vocational training system average. In particular, the college is educational -methodical association on specialities of communication, the collective conducts systematic work on creation, approbations of standards, typical curricula on specialities CN and CS, MTS, RCBT, updating of curriculums. The result of the staff`s work was publication of manuals in the kazakh language titles " Multi channel telecommunication systems ", " Digital devices and microprocessors ", " Digital systems of transfer ", " Automatic switching ", EMC " Multi channel telecommunication systems ", " Digital systems of switching ", the Didactic material on bases of electronics, methodical instructions in a subject «DSS»,Methodical instructions for performance of an academic year project in a subject «DSS», methodical instructions in a subject «ACE», methodical instructions on performance of laboratory and practical works in subjects «DSS», «ACE», «AS», «CEITVTC», methodical instructions on performance of an academic year project in subjects «E and ST», «thermal power station». Lectures on special disciplines are prepared in Power-Point.
The ACC teachersl staff is led by the excellent worker of the educational system of the RK, the candidate of pedagogical sciences director Gaini A. Aigaraeva, proves in practice the right to refer awards and ranks deserved by teachers.To the 10 anniversary of Independence of the Republic of Kazakhstan director of college Ajgaraeva G.A. was awarded to " Algys hat " of President RK. Three teachers, have honorary title "Excellent worker of public education”. Three teachers of the college have an honorary title " Kurmetty bailanysshy ". Some teachers were noted with letters of akimat of Bostandyk area of Almaty. In commemoration of the 80 the anniversary of Hydro -meteorological service of Kazakhstan — the staff of AAC at КАU has been noted with letter of thanks of the Republic state enterprise "Kazgidromet " for preparation of experts of a hydro -meteorological structure. For fruitful work in business of training and education of youth, preparation of the qualified experts for branch of communication of Republic Kazakhstan the pedagogical staff of ACC is noted by gratitude of the Department of Education of Almaty city.
