Pro­visi­on of suc­cess­ful edu­cati­onal and pe­dago­gical work of the uni­ver­si­ty is one of the ma­in tasks of the Lib­ra­ry.
KAU Lib­ra­ry has bo­ok fund which is over 170 000 items mo­re than in 10 dif­fe­rent world lan­gu­ages: bo­oks, CDs, audio and vi­deo cas­settes and ot­her te­ac­hing and le­ar­ning ma­teri­als. The ma­in part of the li­tera­ture is in fo­re­ign lan­gu­ages — dif­fe­rent sub­ject text­bo­oks in Eng­lish lan­gu­age. Uni­ver­sal bo­ok fund gi­ves all the stu­dents op­portu­nity to work with the text­bo­oks on dif­fe­rent to­pics and the­mes. Stu­dents are supp­li­ed with edu­cati­onal- met­ho­dical li­tera­ture the who­le pe­ri­od of edu­cati­on at KAU.

The re­aders ha­ve ac­cess to 2 subs­crip­ti­ons, 3 re­ading ro­oms and on-li­ne re­ading ro­om.

The lib­ra­ry has be­come a cen­ter of sci­en­ti­fic in­forma­ti­on out of just edu­cati­onal one. On-li­ne in­forma­ti­on has re­cent­ly be­come one of the ma­in pri­ori­ti­es of the lib­ra­ry work. Un­der the inf­lu­en­ce of mo­dern in­forma­ti­onal tech­no­logi­es lib­ra­ry is be­coming the in­terme­di­ary bet­we­en users and new in­forma­ti­onal re­so­ur­ces on-li­ne and elect­ro­nic in­forma­ti­on which is con­ta­ined on CDs and In­ternet. Rat­her high le­vel of auto­mati­on and In­ternet tech­no­logi­es let KAU Lib­ra­ry de­velop its work on on-li­ne re­co­ur­ses cre­ation and de­velop­ment, inc­lu­ding its own on-li­ne lib­ra­ry cre­ation.
Ten­dency to li­ve in mo­dern rhythm of li­fe, new tech­no­logi­es int­ro­duc­ti­on and ma­teri­al and tech­ni­cal re­so­ur­ces de­velop­ment ha­ve be­come the ima­ge of KAU Lib­ra­ry. Suc­cess­ful­ly com­bi­ning tra­diti­onal and in­no­vati­ve tech­no­logi­es, the Lib­ra­ry is still lo­yal to its ma­in func­ti­onal pur­po­se- to sup­port edu­cati­onal pro­cess and re­se­arch work of the uni­ver­si­ty..
