Sport club

Sport Club car­ri­es out its work on or­ga­niza­ti­on of aca­demic clas­ses on the sub­ject "Phy­sical Edu­cati­on”, as well as or­ga­niza­ti­on of sport sec­ti­ons for KAU stu­dents and emp­lo­yees. The ma­in task of the Sport Club is pro­pagan­da of he­alt­hy li­fe-sti­le, and to de­velop dif­fe­rent kinds of sport and to att­ract KAU stu­dents and emp­lo­yees to go in for sport.
KAU Sport cent­re inc­lu­des:
— A big gym for such sport as- vol­le­yball, bas­ketball, mi­ni-fo­ot­ball, ten­nis;
— A small gym for aero­bics, ball­ro­om dan­ces, mar­ti­al arts, ping pong;
— A bo­dybu­il­ding gym, with mo­dern equ­ip­ment;
— Sum­mer co­urts for vol­le­yball, bas­ketball;
— Ball­ro­om for dan­cing and de­file;
— Sum­mer co­urt for ten­nis which is be­ing bu­ilt at the mo­ment;
— Ren­ted swim­ming po­ol for swim­ming clas­ses.
The sport de­part­ment is equ­ip­ped with com­fortab­le clo­ak­ro­oms and sho­wer ro­oms.
In the sport Club the­re are func­ti­oning sports sec­ti­ons on the fol­lo­wing kinds of sport: bas­ketball, mi­ni-fo­ot­ball, ping pong, vol­le­yball, ten­nis, bo­dybu­il­ding, aero­bics, sha­ping. It al­so or­ga­nizes KAU com­pe­titi­ons, matc­hes bet­we­en KAU stu­dents and ot­her uni­ver­si­ti­es as well as in­terna­ti­onal ones.
It works on the de­velop­ment of nont­ra­diti­onal kinds of sport sha­ping, mar­ti­al arts. High­ly qua­lifi­ed spe­ci­alists gi­ve the tra­ining clas­ses.
