The new coil of development of the Kazakh-American University
Here in the Kazakhstan market of educational services successfully develops the twelfth year unique university of the international class — the Kazakh-American University. The idea is to create university on the basis of synthesis of programs of the American and Kazakhstan universities under contracts belonged to Amirlan Aidarbekovich Kussainov — to the founder and the President of the Kazakh-American University.
University activity involves in itself interest of the various foreign organizations working at present in Kazakhstan. For today the stable connection between university and the international organizations (IREX, ACCELS, USIS, British Council, foreign educational institutions — universities, colleges, schools) is established. The Kazakh-American University contracts of an articulation with universities of the USA, Italy, Spain, Canada, the United Arab Emirates are concluded, our students leave to continue training in these countries. We give possibility to students, having trained in three years at the Kazakh-American University on a category "A" to leave for the fourth year of training in foreign university. After its termination, having received the diploma of the American sample and degree of the bachelor under the Kazakhstan standard.
Since 2005 the Kazakh-American University is unique university in the CIS, accepted in Association of the American colleges and universities (AAC&U)! Into Association structure enters more than 1100 educational organizations, colleges and universities (American University, Eastern Connecticut State University, George Mason University, Berkeley College, Harvard University and etc.)
In 2006 the university has successfully passed the international certification of a quality management, on conformity to requirements of standard ISО 9001:2000.
A second year (a bachelor degree, college, school) the hostel on a free basis is given to nonresident students. Since September, 1st, 2007 President КАU has confirmed special «a social package» which assumes still more increase of social protection of students of university.
In general, it is possible to ascertain safely existence in territory of Kazakhstan of dynamically developing university, meeting five main international requirements: own buildings, computer and laboratory-technical base, highly skilled pedagogical potential, modern plans and programs, the international partner communications.
